Perhaps best known as the lead vocalist for Grammy Award winning rock band System of a Down, Serj Tankian is also a composer, record-producer, visual artist, and activist. Born in 1967 to Armenian parents in Beirut, Lebanon, Serj moved to California with his family as a child. Today, he’s widely considered one of the greatest vocalists in metal history. Since his success with SOAD, Serj has gone on to release critically acclaimed solo-albums, launch his own record label, create musical scores and compositions for films and video games, and co-found a non-profit organization, Axis of Justice, with Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello. In addition to his activism for social justice and human rights, Serj is an environmental and animal protection advocate.

A staple at Pixar Animation Studio since the early nineties, Sarafian produced the studio’s Oscar-winning films Brave and The Incredibles. Her journey at Pixar began as an entry-level production assistant, but it wasn’t long before she worked her way up to management and marketing stints before she eventually found her place as a producer. She was nominated for the Producers Guild Award for Outstanding Producer of an Animated Theatrical Motion Picture for her work on Brave. She has also served several leading roles on landmark animated films such as “Toy Story,” “Toy Story 2,” “Monsters, Inc.,” etc.

Roger Kupelian is a visual effects artist who has been working in the film industry since the early nineties. Well versed in many forms of visual media, Roger has worked on storyboards, production illustrations, music video concepts, and creating digital environments for major film productions. He is known for his artistic work on blockbuster films like the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Alice in Wonderland, Cloverfield, Hugo, and Pirates of the Caribbean. His digital effects work on Lord of the Rings earned him a nomination for Best Matte Painter at the Visual Effects Society Awards. He was also nominated for Outstanding Created Environment in a Broadcast Program or Commercial for FlashForward.

Alex is an American video game developer who co-created the billion dollar Halo video game franchise. Halo was one of the projects developed at Bungie, the game company Alex co-founded in 1991 while he was still an undergraduate at the University of Chicago. Microsoft bought Bungie in 2000, and Alex went on to found Wideload Games, a game company popular for such projects as Stubbs the Zombie and Hail to the Chimp. Wideload was purchased by Disney in 2009, and Alex became vice president of game development at Disney Interactive. In 2012, he left that position to start Industrial Toys, an independent game studio focused on creating mobile games for core gamers. Their first title, Midnight Star, is a re-imagining of the sci-fi shooter for touch devices.
